Yoga Etiquitte
- Please refrain from wearing perfume into class, if you feel your scent is still strong from the morning, please take a quick shower before class begins.
- Please always observe silence in the yoga studio, unfold your mat before entering and please no chatter.
- Please take your water breaks during savasana (resting pose) especially during the standing series. Please be as quite as possible when you have water try to avoid bottles that scrunch and that make noise.
- If you are feeling overwhelmed with your practice in the standing series please try to stand still at first and connect with your breath if this is not enough, then sit down on your mat. Try to avoid lying down.
- Please always spray and wipe down your mat after class (your mat only needs a couple of sprays on both sides)
- If you have a puddle around you after class please take a rag/mop out from the closet in the studio room and wipe up, this makes the studio room more inviting for the next class.
- Please always exit the practice room quietly, walk very lightly on your toes and quietly close the door behind you. This gives the other yogis a more enjoyable savasana (please hang-on to the railing as you go down the stairs on the left hand side) you may feel a little dizzy when you get up from your final savasana.
- Always come hydrated to class and with an empty stomach. No food 3 hours before class. It is very important to add electrolytes to your water (available at front desk) which keeps everything balanced in the body.
